Waterfall
Waterfall is the first in a new series of abstract glass castings I'm working on for 2011. The muted blues and greens cascade through the glass, stretching and spilling, dancing in the light. The slices of color abruptly appear in the back and fade to a soft edge in the front. This piece was very labor intensive and I spent many hours assembling, casting and finally polishing it to a high sheen.
