Like a stone mason carving marble, I sculpt with the memories of our most cherished moments. I bring them to life in glass, representing the ephemeral nature of our experiences. Sometimes they are real, like the smell of popcorn or the limitless potential in a new box of crayons. Some moments are less tangible; the rising mist off a waterfall or the explosion of color in a field of flowers.
Glass is the perfect medium for my sculptures. In the hands of an artist it can appear hard or soft, bright or subdued, matte or polished.
